Happy Birthday, Mia. Today marks your 21st birthday. Your passage into adulthood is a sovereign indulgence that legally entitles you to drink, go clubbing and all the dreams of a kid's western fantasy. Life begins as a journey where the sun dawns in the East ruminating a path for you to stay true to yourself and your morals. Should it enumerate your path to living life subjected to just hurt? Absolutely not. Be yourself and that's what matters most. Easy—taking it easy is all that counts. You will be happier as each day begins, and I will try my utmost to be in it. Deserve the light you seek, searching for your true purpose is what brings people to lead life in a bright path. More hurt, more sadness and hopelessness will strike as you reach a point in life. Do not let it define who you are. Not knowing the future should make it an optimistic journey, not the bitterness of pessimism. Lose the shackles of who you were "supposed" to be, you know you are much more. Hope is the star that leads you to light even when the West fades into dusk. I write this as I am here—thinking of you. Love will bring us closer, but in the slight odds that it does not. You will be my forever love.
